The Bremont ALT1-C Watch Gallery Limited Edition
The Watch Gallery is proud to announce its second collaboration with home-grown British brand Bremont, with an exclusive, limited edition piece available only at The Watch Gallery, Selfridges’ Wonder Room, and online at TheWatchGallery.com. We at The Watch Gallery have a long and illustrious history of working in step with brands to bring you the very best limited edition collaborative timepieces, and this wonderful piece of Watch Gallery history continues on that tradition.
And because too much of a good thing can be, well, too much, we’ve limited this beautiful chronograph to just 20 pieces worldwide.
Established in 2002 by brothers Nick and Giles English, Bremont has fast become a world-renowned British brand, known for their high-quality craftsmanship and classically influenced designs. The ALT1-C, the first watch ever designed by the brothers English, looks to the celebrated design of the RAF mosquito fuel gauge, and it’s this iconic piece that Bremont and The Watch Gallery have reimagined.
Described by Nick English as “very distinctive, and pretty unique”, The Watch Gallery Limited Edition watch is off-set with two subtly etched sub dials and features beautifully polished applied numerals, all set on an attractive blue dial in The Watch Gallery’s signature shade. It’s the same striking blue that can be seen on the embossed leather strap; deep, distinctive, and exclusively found on this limited edition timepiece.
In an era when British watchmaking is just starting to shine again, Bremont, with its manufacture based in Henley-on-Thames, is a key investor in UK watch making, leading the cause in reinvigorating the British watch industry. With its history as the birthplace of numerous timekeeping innovations still in use today, Britain is ripe for a revitalisation of its watch industry, and Bremont may just be the spark to ignite it. Staying true to its original brand principles of being “British”, alongside honouring “Aviation”, “Engineering” and “Adventure”, the Bremont ALT1-C Watch Gallery Limited Edition respects these elements and reinterprets them with an inimitable Watch Gallery look.
This is a beautifully engineered watch; with a Calibre 13 ¼ “” BE-50AE automatic, 28 jewel movement; 42 hour power reserve; water resistance to 100 metres; and a polished stainless steel 43mm case with an engraved case-back marking “XX/20”.
The Bremont ALT1-C Watch Gallery Limited Edition is available to purchase throughout The Watch Gallery’s prestigious Bremont outlets: The Wonder Room, Selfridges, Oxford Street, London; The Watch Gallery, Westfield, and online here.
