Bucherer welcomes Breguet to the site

With the exciting news that Breguet is now transactional on the Bucherer website, we put the spotlight on the brand’s iconic Classique collection. Simple and elegant the range of watches from the Breguet Classique collection give you contemporary and stylish ways to sport a dress watch. The collection exemplifies precision and clarity with the elegant lines Breguet has become renowned for.

With watches across the most recent collection featuring a significantly thinner profile compared to predecessors, there aren’t many timepieces this slim while also running on an automatic movement.

A good place to start with your Breguet is with the The Classique 7147.

The case, dial and hands
with the choice of an 18ct rose gold or white gold case and a 40mm diameter, this standout piece features welded lugs with screw bars that help the watch look seamless and elegant in design. Despite the contemporary look of the motifs adorning the Classique timepiece appear, they are all inspired by the decorative codes of early horology. These decorations were introduced to avoid premature tarnishing and strengthened the fragile nature of polished surfaces.
The Classique 7147 main dial motif sports the “clou de Paris” design offset by a small seconds subdial at the 5 o’clock position enhanced by a cross weave pattern. The hours and minutes are seen by blued steel Breguet hands that sweep over a Roman numerals chapter ring.

The movement
The 7147 is powered by a super thing self-winding movement, the Calibre 502.3SD. The movement is based on the Frederic Piguet 71 movement which operates at a balance frequency of 3Hz and can be adjusted in 6 different positions. Taking the slim dimensions in to account, the movement of the 7147 is a huge draw for this watch and adds considerable value.

With its classic design, slim profile and impressive movement the Classique 7147 is the perfect choice for a simple yet stylish dress watch.
