Jaeger-LeCoultre at Cowdray Park Polo Club

For more than 10 years Jaeger-LeCoultre has been inseparably bound up with the Cowdray Park Polo Club through a shared history and common values. Jaeger-LeCoultre is the official timekeeper of the prestigious tournament.
Jaeger-LeCoultre is synonymously associated with Polo, from designing the iconic Reverso in 1931 to supporting polo across the glove. The magic of the Reverson began when a British army officer who had broken the glass of his watch during a polo match in India, raised the challenge to create a model sufficiently robust to survive a polo match unscathed. This challenge, successfully accomplished by the Manufacture at the time, led to the creation of the Reverso watch with a swivelling case to protect the dial and movement inside. A watchmaking icon was born such as an infinite passion for the sport.

The Reverso watch is a  true symbol of the art deco period and has been reinvented many times while staying true to its original design principles. The Reverso is much more than a watch. It measures time while preserving its history.

Casa Fagliano
In 2018, Jaeger-LeCoultre proudly celebrates its partnership with Casa Fagliano, the renowned Argentinian bootmakers. This exclusive collaboration has given birth to new editions of Reverso Tribute and Reverso Classic pieces, on very well made cordovan leather straps, demonstrating an outstanding leathercraft tradition. In honor to this collection, Jaeger-LeCoultre invited Clare Milford Haven, Polo player and friend of the brand, to adopt her own Casa Fagliano strap, and enhance her personalised Reverso Classic Duetto Medium.
When one of Argentina’s greatest bootmakers joins forces with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture, the result is the very pinnacle of craftsmanship. A family business running since 1892, Casa Fagliano works a soft and supple leather known for its great strength, following techniques handed down by long tradition. The refinement of the Reverso x Casa Fagliano will not escape those who appreciate craftsmanship at its authentic and original best.
The Grande Maison and the renowned bootmakers have a great number of values in common. Their two realms share a respect for expert craftsmanship, meticulous detailing, a passion for the product, and the pursuit of perfection.
