Rolex- New Models at Baselworld 2014
Rolex has unveiled some exciting new models on the first day of this year’s Baselworld Watch & Jewellery Fair.
We bring you a first look at all the new 2014 models…
Rolex GMT-Master II (Reference: 116719BLRO)
Rolex has introduced a world first on its Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II at BaselWorld, unveiling a red and blue Cerachrom bezel insert, echoing the first GMT‑Master bezel of 1955. The ceramic’s sheen gives volume to the insert and enhances the colours in a way that is reminiscent of the Plexiglas insert of the original GMT-Master. The engraved numerals and graduations are coated with a thin layer of platinum via a PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) process patented by Rolex.
Rolex Sea-Dweller 4000 (Reference: 116600)
Rolex has updated the Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller 4000, new for 2014. This 40‑mm‑diameter technical model is waterproof to a depth of 1,220 metres (4,000 feet) and features all the latest Rolex standards of innovation: Cerachrom bezel insert in a ceramic virtually impervious to scratches and ultraviolet rays; Chromalight display with long-lasting luminescence; paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring; Oysterlock safety clasp; and the Rolex Glidelock extension system. Not forgetting, of course, the groundbreaking function for which the Sea-Dweller is renowned, the helium escape valve.
Rolex Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller (Reference: 326935)
The Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller features a dual time zone, a combined display of local time via centre watch hands and reference time via an off-centre disc, allowing travellers to adjust the watch to different time zones during a journey. For 2014, there are three new versions of the Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller in 18 ct yellow, white and Everose gold in 42 mm cases, expanding the existing collections with new dials, bracelets and leather straps.
Rolex Datejust Pearlmaster 34 (Reference: 81348SARO)
Rolex pays its latest tribute to the art of watchmaking jewellery, with the new Datejust Pearlmaster 34. This spectacular new model features an 18 ct gold paved dial and 455 diamonds.
Rolex Cosmograph Daytona (Reference: 116576TBR)
Rolex has unveiled a new, jewelled version of its Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona. With a 950 platinum dial, paved entirely with diamonds apart from the ice blue chronograph counters, it also features a bezel emblazoned with 36 baguette cut diamonds.
Rolex Milgauss (Reference: 116400GV)
The Milgauss has always been an avant-garde style watch, with the green sapphire marking a first in watchmaking when it was originally introduced on the Milgauss in 2007. Now the crystal has been comboned with an electric blue dial, which seen through the green sapphire crystal takes on a powerful magnetic hue.
Rolex Oyster Perpetual (Reference: 116000)
Rolex has released updated versions of its Oyster Perpetual model in 31 mm and 36 mm sizes. The models feature new dials in elegant and sporty colours, including red grape and sunray.
Rolex Cellini Time (Reference: 50509)
A contemporary collection with a classic feel, the new Cellini models combine the best of Rolex know-how, its high standards of perfection, with a timeless design. The Cellini Time comes with an 18 ct white gold 39 mm case.

The Cellini Dual Time models indicate the time in two time zones simultaneously and feature an elegant sun and moon day/night indicator in an aperture on the sub-dial for the second time zone. All the new Cellini models feature a high-precision self-winding mechanical movement, certified as a chronometer and entirely manufactured by Rolex
