To celebrate the beginning of what Zenith are calling “an exceptional long-term association”, the El Primero Range Rover Special Edition chronograph was launched at a VIP event in Paris. This piece, the first fruits of the partnership, features a ceramised aluminum case inspired by ideas from both brands’ product design and engineering departments. It’s a standout piece, one which celebrates two legendary brands that have both made an indelible imprint on watchmaking and automotive history.
With both Zenith and Land Rover founded in the year 1969, each brand has risen to become a pioneering cornerstone of their respective fields. Perfectly embodying the spirit of the latest chapter of these two legendary brands is the El Primero Range Rover Special Edition, a sleek, high-tech, high-performance timepiece that is equally at home on the city streets as it is on rugged terrain. The official world debut of this specifically-developed new chronograph was accompanied by that of the stunning new Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic.
During the launch event, guests were treated to another memorable unveiling, that of the work of star guest Richard Orlinski. The world renowned French artist and sculptor introduced a unique piece; an emotion-provoking blend of the Zenith and Land Rover universes interpreted through the prism of his own distinctive style. High technology met sophisticated design in this artistic revelation, symbolizing the Zenith/Land Rover partnership.
